Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Reports
In May 2021, the State Board of Education approved the creation of the ESSER Collaborative ELO in collaboration with Beyond School Bells (BSB) for the distribution and administration of the ESSER III program summer and expanded learning activities allocations, which totaled approximately $11 million. The Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) serves as the fiscal agent for these grants, and BSB provides grant management and administration. ESSER III-funded programming began in the summer of 2022 and will continue through September 2024. Please see below for summer and school year (SY) reports on this work in Nebraska (SY reports expected winter 2024-25).
