Nebraska ELO Innovation Network
Launched in 2020, in partnership with the Nebraska Department of Education and Nebraska philanthropies, BSB’s ELO Innovation Network provides support to Nebraska schools, community and non-profit organizations to expand statewide capacity to provide more high quality, locally sustainable afterschool and summer learning programs. The ELO Innovation Network connects and supports new and established afterschool programs and informal education providers and, through our Design Studio, creates opportunities for experimentation, piloting and scaling-up new tools and approaches to high quality out of school time learning that can be sustained locally and are replicable statewide. The ELO Innovation Network includes four components:
- ELO Design Studio
- Centers of Excellence
- Incubator Programs
- Accelerator Initiatives
In 2022, our work facilitating the ELO Innovation Network will be enhanced and expanded through a deepening of our public-private partnership with the NE Department of Education in support of new funding opportunities that came out of the Federal COVID-19 relief funding. More information to come as this new work takes shape over the next several months and years.
