Beyond School Bells is Committed to Elevating Youth Voice!

It sounds cliché, but its true – Nebraska’s youth represent Nebraska’s future.  Young people in Nebraska are already helping to create exciting, engaging and inspiring afterschool and summer programming across our state.

But we feel youth in our state have even more to contribute to our collective effort to make afterschool programming in Nebraska the very best it can be.  Through cultivating and harnessing the valuable youth insights, we believe ELO programs in communities across the state can fill a unique and meaningful role in our state’s education system.  That is why Beyond School Bells has launched a series of initiatives to elevate youth voice and tap youth expertise to identify, develop and promote high quality, locally relevant afterschool and summer programming.
