Nebraska ELO programs participate in Harvard-based STEM Study

Nebraska is one of eleven states currently participating in a national study of the impact of afterschool STEM on youth attitudes towards STEM learning. Sixteen of Nebraska’s school and community-based afterschool programs are participating in this study, which is being led by a national team of research centers based at Harvard and Texas Tech Universities. Participating sites in Nebraska include programs in Omaha, Lincoln, Columbus, Kearney, Chadron and Sidney. We anticipate that these findings will help providers understand how we can provide more Nebraska youth with high quality afterschool STEM learning experiences.
